Janice Bayliss
Single Club Rep Area 4
Janice Bayliss, Single Club Rep for Area 4, had a career spanning 25 years in the Engineering Dept. of British Gas, during which time she achieved a BSc. in Science & Technology with the Open University.
She joined the NAWC as a member of Haydock Women’s Club in 2002 and in 2006 took on the post of Treasurer, which she still holds today.
In 2010 she became an NAWC Vice Chairman and, during her tenure, in 2013 opened a new club – Women of Westhoughton (WOW). Intending to help for just 6 weeks, she is still Chairman of this lively, successful club.
In 2016 she became Secretary of the North West Promotions Team. She produces a quarterly Newsletter and helps organise various events including the annual Summer Luncheon which regularly attracts over 100 ladies from clubs in the North West.
When not busy with NAWC her passion is gardening. She raises fruit and veg which she uses to make jam & chutney in addition to her award-winning marmalade which she sells at Conference and other events to raise funds for NAWC and various charities.
She lives in Westhoughton nr. Bolton with her husband Dave and cats Mork & Mindy.
