Against Breast Cancer Sponsored Challenge

  • May 9, 2017
  • News

Here at Head Office we teamed the NAWC with “Against Breast Cancer” (ABC) and threw out a sponsored challenge. I want to thank all the clubs that took part. You didn’t have to do it but those that did participate found it great fun and the money raised will help the charity and NAWC.  You raised money by sponsored walks, fun days, bring and buys, garden parties and many other fund raising activities. You raised £5,884 and it meant that a cheque was presented to ‘Against Breast Cancer’ for £2,942.00 to go towards much needed research. “Well Done Ladies”.

8th September 2022

To all members

Today is one of the saddest days that we will ever experience with the death of our beloved Queen.

For most of us she has always been a part of lives, she has been constant and steadfast in her role as monarch, never putting a foot wrong.

Her life was dedicated to us and she will be greatly missed by us all.

On behalf of The National Association of Women’s Clubs we send our condolences to her family.
