COVID-19 update

  • March 13, 2020
  • News

To all Clubs

At this stage, there is no recommendation or instruction to cancel any weekly meetings or activities but certain precautions are recommended to help prevent the spread of the virus.

Aside from the usual precautions like catching sneezes and coughs in a tissue the key recommendation from the Government is hand washing.

With immediate effect (and until further notice) it would be wise to ask all members to wash their hands when arriving at and leaving your meeting room. It is not as effective but it might be useful to have hand washing gel available.

In order that you can minimise disruption to your evening activities, we would suggest that you ask your members to arrive in good time for the meeting.

Sorry if it seems like stating the obvious but we must be seen to be doing our part in containing this virus

Thank you for your co-operation

8th September 2022

To all members

Today is one of the saddest days that we will ever experience with the death of our beloved Queen.

For most of us she has always been a part of lives, she has been constant and steadfast in her role as monarch, never putting a foot wrong.

Her life was dedicated to us and she will be greatly missed by us all.

On behalf of The National Association of Women’s Clubs we send our condolences to her family.
