Supporting The Alzheimer Society and Marie Curie

  • November 3, 2019
  • News

For the past year our clubs have been raising money for The National Association of Women’s Clubs and The Alzheimer Society. We managed to raise £1565 thanks to Bring & Buys, a Netball challenge, Garden Parties, sponsored walks and various other fund raising. All our clubs are very charity minded, they all raise money in their own areas for local charities, it is all part of the concept of women’s clubs helping others.

From September 2019 we are working with the charity Marie Curie we will post more information as the year goes on. Marie Curie provides overnight nursing care for terminally ill patients and though they get some funding they still need to raise funds themselves. We are always ready to help others and this charity was chosen by the Reps at our Executive meeting May

8th September 2022

To all members

Today is one of the saddest days that we will ever experience with the death of our beloved Queen.

For most of us she has always been a part of lives, she has been constant and steadfast in her role as monarch, never putting a foot wrong.

Her life was dedicated to us and she will be greatly missed by us all.

On behalf of The National Association of Women’s Clubs we send our condolences to her family.
